What information is on the Pet Ledger?
Each Pet Ledger includes species, breed, and your kennel name (publicly visible). You can also add health records, vaccination dates, genetic testing results, and any other documentation. Sensitive info like microchip numbers are hashed for privacy while remaining verifiable.
Is my kennel name really public?
Yes, and that's the point. Your kennel name being visible is what lets buyers verify where a pet came from. This is what separates documented, responsible breeders from anonymous sources. You'll consent to this during setup - no surprises.
How does volume pricing work?
Based on your expected annual volume, we'll set up a discounted rate. The more pets you document, the lower the per-pet cost. We'll discuss specifics during your consultation and find a rate that works for your program.
Can I add records after the initial passport?
Yes. Updates are just $0.19 each (or less with volume). Add vaccination records, health certificates, vet visits, or any documentation throughout the pet's life. The record grows with the pet.
